Passage Jouffroy, Hotel Chopin
The contrast could not be greater - sleeping in the Art Nouveau Passage Jouffroy built in 1847 in the nostalgic Hotel Chopin and working in the super-modern business center La Defense. The Passage Jouffroy is located on Boulevard Montmartre near the metro station Grand Boulevard (line 9). In the year 1882, next to the Passage Jouffroy, the Musée Grévin, named after the famous caricaturist Alfred Grévin, was opened. Opposite the Passage Jouffroy is the Passage Panorama with many small restaurants.
Just a stone's throw away at Rue du Faubourg Montmartre is the famous Brasserie Cartier. Every evening there is a long queue of waiting guests, as Cartier can not be reserved in the Brasserie. |
